Curtis has been the pastor of Hope since it began in 2003. He is married to Brandy and they have two children, Hannah and Brennan. He enjoys spending time with Brandy and the kids, reading, drinking lots of coffee and occasional games of pick-up basketball and flag football.
John joined the staff in 2015. Prior to coming to Hope, he served at Faith Church in Allentown, PA and Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA. As Associate Pastor, John facilitates small groups, preaches once a month and helps with general shepherding of the church. John enjoys exploring the city with his wife Julia, and all things hockey.
Zach Barton, Director of Children's Ministry, Administrator
Zach joined staff at Hope in 2016 and is currently finishing his M.Div at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Zach oversees the Children's Ministry as well as day-to-day administrative work around the church. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jillian, and their four children, as well as reading good books and occasionally suffering as a Dallas Cowboys fan.
John joined the staff in 2016 and has been a member of the church for over ten years. He oversees local outreach efforts to the community as well as Hope's partnerships with those serving in communities all over the world. John is a native of New England, from Framingham, MA. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin, barefoot water skiing on his parents' lake, and challenging anyone to a game of Ticket to Ride.
Helen is a part-time member of the staff. She is a widow with one grown son who is a local playwright. Her responsibilities at Hope include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and other related functions. Her interests include writing fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, some of which she hopes to publish. She is an avid student of the Bible and loves getting alone with God.
Nathan moved from the Bay Area to Boston for graduate school in 2012 and planted roots in Boston after meeting his wife Becky at Hope. He enjoys time with their daughter, software development, running, and hiking.
Danny and his wife Crystal are elementary school sweethearts, originally hailing from southern California but now firmly rooted in New England. They have three children: Faith, Noah, and Gabriel. Danny is a professor at Boston College Law School, where he teaches telecommunications and Internet law. When not at work or in school, the Lyons family enjoys camping, hiking, games, Red Sox baseball, reading, and classic cinema.
Mike and his wife Lexi are from the warm weather of South Florida and Southern California but have fallen in love with temperate New England. Mike works as a healthcare investor at Advent International and loves reading, running, skiing, and sailing.
