In addition to the personal items that you use/need daily, these are a few things you might want to consider bringing this weekend:
Bathroom/Bedding:
Towels
Toiletries
Shower slippers/flip flops (if desired)
Pillow
Sleeping bag or other bed linens
Beds do not come with linens, so please bring your own or a sleeping bag.
If you need to borrow a sleeping bag, email Adri Flores.
Beds requiring linens are single/twin beds. For individual housing, beds are in large bunk-bed rooms together.
Most family housing will have linens provided on-site. If you are placed in family housing requiring your own linens, you will receive a separate message from Andrew Gilson.
Portable crib/bed for babies
Clothing:
Weather-appropriate clothes (temperatures vary from 40s-60s F, but we suggest you check the forecast closer to Friday)
Athletic shoes/clothes for outside games
Swimsuit/trunks (there is a lake if you want to be adventurous and swim; canoeing is also an option)
Miscellaneous:
Friday Night Dinner—Dinner will not be provided on Friday night. Eat beforehand or on your way up.
Bible, notebook, pen
Board Games (There is a common room where people often gather to play games together)
Snacks
Canoe/Kayak (We will have a chance to go out on the lake, and the retreat center will provide some canoes and kayaks for us to use. However, if you have one you prefer to use, you are welcome to bring it.)
Flashlight
Bug spray/Sunscreen
Umbrella/Raincoat
Baby monitor (Parents with small children: some bedrooms are near our large group gatherings, so this may be handy to bring.)
