These classes last approximately one hour. We would encourage you to make them a regular part of your Sunday worship and participation in the life of the church
Spring 2008- Session 2 runs from Sunday March 30th-May 18th
9 AM- Christianity Explored
March 30th-May 11th|Porter Square
Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who would like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics.
It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him.
You won't be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any question you like. Or, if you prefer, you can just come along and listen
11 AM- The Holy Spirit
March 30th- May 18th|Porter Square
The Holy Spirit is the great gift that Jesus has given to his people, yet the person of the Holy Spirit is one of the most misunderstood and controversial doctrines in Christianity
We will study the Holy Spirit, focusing on his personhood, works, fruits and gifting.
You will be encouraged to study the scriptures, Christian thought, and the relevance of the Holy Spirit in our every day lives.
5 PM- Resurrection
March 30th-May 11th|Coolidge Corner
Jesus' resurrection is celebrated on Easter, but what is so amazing about his resurrection and why is it so important for Christians to believe that they too will be resurrected?
We will investigate the meaning of resurrection in the ancient world, the Bible and what difference Jesus' resurrection and ours has to say to how the people of God speak and live in the world.
